Skycap Service

Moscone Center has partnered with Baggage Airline Guest Services, Inc., (BAGS) based in Orlando, Florida to offer door-to door rolling baggage handling to attendees on the final day of their convention. The skycap service has been rolled out on the last day of every event starting February 18 when it was rolled out on the ERA/Coldwell Banker's convention. San Francisco's Moscone Center is the third major U.S. convention center to join in partnership with BAGS, in addition to Chicago's McCormick Place and Orlando's Orange County Convention Center

BAGS Remote Airline Check-In Services has now made it even easier for convention attendees to check-in for selected domestic flights departing from San Francisco International Airport. Attendees can pre-enroll into the service using our new web enrollment feature. On day of departure, attendees can simply show their ID and receive boarding passes and baggage tags. For a $10 fee plus applicable airline baggage fees guests flying out of the San Francisco International Airport on any of BAGS' airline partners will be able to securely check up two bags up to 50 lbs. baggage and receive their boarding pass at the BAGS kiosk in the Moscone Center. Baggage is secured and transported to the airport, where it undergoes the same TSA-screening process as baggage checked by passengers at airline ticket counters. Baggage can be checked as early as 12 hours and as late as three hours prior to departure.

Airline partners include: Air Tran, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines, Jet Blue, Northwest Airlines, Song, United, Ted and US Airways. BAGS is the only skycap system available for non-airport facilities that can directly access multiple airline reservation systems from a single workstation and check a bag. Through our partnership with ARINC Incorporated, BAGS uses state-of-the-art proprietary technology, enabling our skycaps to check baggage for most major airlines from your location and issue your guests a boarding pass on the spot. Guests flying most major domestic carriers will have complete access to the BAGS range of services. BAGS is available, at no cost to the show, for the final two days of the show.
